U.S Factories are Cooling Down Suggesting Economic Slowdown

Although a recession isn’t looming, the odds are rising for a slow down pending home sales. The Institute for Supply Management said that U.S. manufacturing index fell and growth is cooling faster than expected.

Although the odds for a recession are rising, no one knows how far or how deep the slowdown might develop. Any economic shock would check heavily the balance in the favor for a recession. Baring a terrorist attack, oil price spike or major hurricane the slow down may be mild.

One Twentieth of American Adults Are Shopping Addicts!

Stanford University researchers found that among 2,500 adults surveyed, 6% of women and 5.5% of men demonstrated compulsive shopping behavior.

Women seem to be drawn to and addicted to purchase things for other people. Men, on the other hand, are drawn to more expensive electronic gadgets that they want for themselves.
